Where My Journey Began

Where My Journey Began ❦
My store leader, Jennifer Bailey, and I, twinning!
I’m an aspiring Visual Merchandiser currently studying Fashion Merchandising at Virginia Commonwealth University. My journey into this field truly began in 2024 when I joined Kate Spade New York as a Stylist. During my time there, I developed hands-on experience in visual merchandising, product knowledge, communication, and POS operations, which strengthened both my technical skills and my passion for creating meaningful in-store experiences.
❦ A Mission in Full Bloom ❦
I’m driven by the belief that “Love, Beauty, Creativity, Empathy, and Equity Can Bloom Anywhere.” This mission shapes how I approach visual storytelling, fashion spaces, and consumer connection. Whether it's curating displays or building environments that feel welcoming and inclusive, I see merchandising as a powerful way to communicate emotion, authenticity, and intention.
Passions That Shape My Vision

Passions That Shape My Vision ❦
Outside of work and school, I’m most inspired by vintage fashion and the dreamy, atmospheric feel of Japanese cinema. I’m drawn to pieces that feel like they’ve already lived a few lives—faded fabrics, romantic silhouettes, and details that don’t try too hard but still say something. I love the kind of visuals that feel both nostalgic and a little off-center, like a memory that blurs the line between real and imagined.
Those influences shape how I think about visual merchandising: soft, expressive, and slightly unconventional. I’m not interested in displays that just fill space—I want to create moments that linger, even after someone walks away.
