One of my first projects in college was to create a physical inspiration board using curated images for a potential clothing brand. It needed to communicate visually what can not be communicated verbally.
The Process
For my trend board, I first gathered all required materials. I collected and printed images that reflected my theme, cut them out, and prepared the foam core to the correct size. Before gluing anything down, I experimented with different arrangements to find the most balanced composition. Once finalized, I mounted the images neatly and added finishing touches to ensure the board looked clean, cohesive, and visually inspiring.

Inspired by the softness of Rococo, I brought together images of elegant portraits, blooming florals, nature, beauty, and fashion to build a romantic, feminine visual world.

I printed the selected images at various sizes, carefully cut them out, and prepared the foam core to the correct dimensions for mounting.

I tested multiple arrangements to find the most balanced composition, then glued the images down neatly and added finishing touches to ensure the board looked polished and cohesive.
